Wow……. this week was too powerful. The Lord is just so good. He is bound when we do what He says! Truly my heart is full. This week our zone was able to have 38 investigators at church and 35 less actives back to church as well. Truly grateful for this amazing zone that I am in! The work is moving forward!
We had two of our investigators get interviewed this week for their baptisms and they will get baptized next Sunday, and we should have 7 more on the 7th of Feb! We were able to see 14 investigators at church and most of them were the ones on date for baptism! So sweet.
Elder Nkusi and I both served in Motherwell and one of our favorite fellow shippers came with us for the day, Mihlali, our Branch Mission Leader. It was so fun bringing up all the memories that we had there and it was awesome. He came into our flat for lunch and he said right when he walked in “you can tell you guys are zone leaders, your flat is so clean” hahahahha! Something I learned on my mission, cleanliness is next to Godliness!! The spirit cannot be in a dirty place, that includes dirty flats!
This week there were some sweet impressions received by the Spirit. One was with a less active guy. We felt we should talk about tithing, so we did, and he said he hasn’t been paying and it was what he needed to hear, and he came to church on Sunday! Another was to tell the new senior couples how much we appreciate them, something so small but we did. And she responded “This made me smile, our first text from missionaries, and it really helped because I just found out my friend from back home died” I just felt an overwhelming approval from the Spirit that I am here doing the right thing. So grateful, truly.
We also had MLC this week, where all the zone leaders and Assistants and President Merrill and his couneslors have a huge Skype session to talk about how we can improve the mission. It was cool! Super long though! And Elder Nkusi and I get to fly to Cape Town next week to go on exchanges with the Assistants for a few days, so that will be sweet! But loving life and loving the mission!
